[QUOTE="Falling Icicle, post: 3946590, member: 17077"] As others have said, Ability Focus, Flyby Attack and Maximize/Quicken Spell-Like Ability are good choices. Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration are also helpful, especially if you don't plan on taking Vitriolic Blast. Sudden Still Spell is also very useful if you have Flee the Scene, as it allows you to ignore the somatic component and teleport out of grapples. Also, don't overlook one of the biggest features of the class - Use Magic Device. It might be worth taking an Item Creation feat or two at level 12+, since warlcoks can make almost any item imaginable if they have the right feat, thanks to their imbue item ability. Scribe Scroll is a great choice for this, as it lets you have access to any spell in the game! Skill Focus (Use Magic Device) isn't a bad choice either if you are lacking in Charisma. In addition to what others have mentioned, Gnomes are a suprisingly good choice, IMO. They're small, giving them extra AC and hit, and the +2 Con gives you more HP and better fortitude saves, which are two of the primary weaknesses of the class. Their spell-like abilities are also handy if used creatively. The main drawbacks to them are their lower carrying capacities (which is largely irrelevant once you get a handy haversack or belt of many pockets) and their slow land speed, which also makes them slower when using fell flight. Boots of Striding and Springing can make up for this, though. Or you can just forsake getting Fell Flight altogether and get a flying carpet instead. ;) Hellfire Warlock isn't a bad choice. It's a 3 level class that is fairly easy to qualify for and lets you increase your EB damage at the cost of a temporary point of Con damage. Make sure you have a wand of Lesser Restoration or a Cleric with that spell if you intend to take this prestige class. It also has the very nice ability of being able to add empower, enlarge, widen or energy substitution for free to charged magic items a few times per day, making those wands and staves you get/make alot more powerful.
