TTRPG Resolutions For 2026

[THEMNGMNT]

My resolution is just to keep on keeping on. In 2026, I expect to...

• Complete my 13th Age campaign (it's likely going to take 2 1/2 years and 75 sessions)
• Start a D&D 2024 campaign set in the Dalelands

There's a ton more I'd like to do, but right now my life only has room for one campaign at a time.

Running or playing? I played through both The Haunting of Ypsilon 13 and Decagone in FLGS games I played recently, and while Ypsilon gets all of the hype, Decagone was amazing. So much so that I intend to pick it up for the next time I run a Mothership one-shot.

Unfortunately I rarely get the opportunity to play so I’d have to plan on running it.

At the next Gamehole Con, the place I most readily get to try new games, I want to try one or more of the Cypher System games, Vaeson, and maybe Savage Worlds.

Otherwise, I hope we finish the Curse of Strahd campaign so my daughter can get the Cyberpunk campaign. And I'm going to still try to find ways to run Masks of Nyarlathotep.

I plan on starting the new campaign for 5.5e finally as some point in the year. I'll most likely put several things on DMsGuild. I think last year/this year I wanted to make 1/month but think it was more like 1/two months.

I'm not sure if I will run an adventure at the local convention this year. I ran something last year and it was fine, but not sure I feel it right now.
