- We'd like to tell you about how we're changing the way we handle Community Supporter Accounts. As of now, Community Supporter Accounts are available on a monthly basis for just $3 per month. This enables you to spread the cost of your account and start/stop it at will. We are phasing out the old account purchase setup (although any purchased up until this point will of course be honoured until expiry). We are also considering further options to add value to a CSA, and we'll keep you notified on what we come up with. At present, CSAs allow you to use the SEARCH funtion, turn off ADS, grant you a larger PRIVATE MESSAGES inbox, and display a custom USER TITLE and AVATAR, plus these special products updated every month! For September, Community Supporters can download:

[*]D&D Alumni: Artifacts Last month, we discussed the history of magic items (or more properly "magical" items, as Steve Winter pointed out). This month, we look at those rarest, most powerful, and most coveted of all magic items: artifacts. Wondrous entities, their cataloging and powers once existed as a set of tables in the back of the Dungeon Master's Guide… and whose possession often caused many a DM to attempt to divest them from their players' character record sheets.
[*] Character Classes Building a new character class is the most difficult design task in D&D. A class is the largest single design piece in the game. It consists of everything from new powers and class features to basic stuff like weapon proficiencies, skill lists, and hit point progressions.
[*]Dating & Dragons Confessions of a Full-Time Wizard.
[*]Giants of Legend Stat Cards The finished versions of the revised Giants of Legend stat cards are ready to be downloaded, printed, and played with. Get 'em while they're hot! And be nice to those hard-working fellas at the DDM Guild.
[*]Excerpts: Primal Power Rituals In today's Primal Power preview, we present new primal rituals focusing on the nature skill -- including one to trap your enemies and one to take sanctuary from them!
[*]Penny Arcade/PvP Ep5 Once more around the table! The folks at Penny Arcade, PvP, and Wil Wheaton sit down with Wizards of the Coast for a session of 4th Edition D&D.
