There are four more maps to go to finish part three of the mega-dungeon. I'm keeping my options open for further expansion. My 2023 mega-dungeons (Friday's and Monday's) are my tribute to the Dungeon23 challenge (without me actually doing the challenge proper). My current procedure is every time I finish a section of the mega-dungeon, I will spend a couple of weeks doing smaller dungeons as a palate cleanser of sorts.

Here is the March 31st, 2023 Friday Freebie map. I'm taking a brief break from the current 2023 mega-dungeon, to work on an idea. This map represents a lair built/carved/grown in a mangled tree. Click to enlarge.



Map Details:

• The stairs at area 1 lead up to the ground level. The stairs flanking areas 11 and 18 go up. The stairs to the right of area 2 goes down. On Upper Level 1, the stairs leading to areas 26 and 38 lead down to the ground level. The stairs at areas 36 and 48 lead up top Upper Level 2 (next week's map).
• Area 6 has a well/open pit.
• Area 20 has a secret trap door in the floor.

Out of curiosity, did you ever create a map for the lowest level (the dungeon amidst the roots) for your March 31 tree map? I saw the April 7 and 14 maps that continue up the tree, but the staircase going down from room 2 is enticing (along with the secret trap door in room 20 and the well/pit in room 6).

Just making sure I'm not missing anything!

No, there isn't a dungeon level that goes with the tree levels (at this point in time). The tree levels were a request of sorts and a dungeon level wasn't included in that request. I might have to correct that but it won't happen until 4 weeks from now (once I finish the next chapter of my 2023 Friday Freebie mega-dungeon which has 4 maps left to go).
