I'm having internet problems on my end so this is a bit late. Here is the July 8, 2022 Friday Freebie map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 48x56 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1700x2025
  • The "upper" level can connect with the "lower" level by several possibilities (and a few I probably didn't think of). First, area 2 d) is larger on the inside and it contains the "upper" level in that 10' x 20' space. Second, area 2 d) could teleport directly to area 28 b). Third, areas 2 d) and 28 b) are next to each other (with no wall between them) and the "upper" level continues to the left from the "lower" level.
  • Areas 1 a), 2 c), 28 a), 34 b), 43 b), and 43 c) have daises/raised platforms.
  • Areas 1 b), 2 b), 3 a), 14, 34 a), and 43 have pillars/columns.
  • Areas 3 a) and 21 have open pits.
  • Areas 3 b) to 3 l) are cells with bars.
  • Areas 7, 8, and 15 have false doors.
  • Areas 28 a), 28 e), 24 b), 43 b), and 43 c) have statues.
  • Area 28 d) is a chasm.
  • The grey section of area 30 represents a weaken floor that could possibly cave in to the chasm under it.
  • Area 36 has a tapestry.

Nice!

Before reading your notes, I imagined that the well in room 21 was directly over 43a.

Here's the Monday Blues #25 map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • The stairs at area 1 a) lead up.
  • Areas 1 b), 9, 19, 20 b), 24 a), 29, 30 a), 37, 38, 40, and 41 have false doors (or alternatively, they are portals to one another).
  • Areas 1 c), 10, 15 b), 15 c), 15 d), 15 e), 20 a), 25, 33 have covered pit traps.
  • Areas 1 d), 11, 24 b), and 44 b) have open pits.
  • Areas 1 e), 7, 15 e), and 17 b) have statues.
  • Areas 6 and 29 have tapestries.
  • Area 8 has a strange stone monolith. The monolith pulsates with a light blue glow during a full moon.
  • Areas 9, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 have pillars/columns.
  • Areas 14 and 15 have a frosted path on the cold stone floor. This area of the dungeon is unusually chilly. Area 14 is the Hall of Ice and area 15 is the Vault of Ice. The pits in the vault should have a higher chance of being frozen shut. The pits are chilled stone shafts with semi-frozen water at the bottom. You won't want to linger too long at a bottom of a pit.
  • Area 17 b) has a dais/raised platform.
  • Area 29 has a pool/fountain.
  • Areas 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 could be large silo-like hives/chambers. The false doors of areas 37, 38, 40, and 41 need not all be at ground level (some may be at higher heights above ground level).
  • Area 44 b) has a stone wall (of recent construction). Someone or something wanted this pit chamber sealed.

Oh, I like those hex rooms! Gives me an idea for a dungeon where that half is owned by sentient bee-like hive mind society. 44b would be an opening up and out of the hive...

I'm going away over the weekend for some family related stuff but I have set up the next Friday Freebie and Monday Blues maps so I will be able to release them while I'm away (as long as nothing goes wrong - crosses fingers). Hopefully there won't be any interruption to me releasing my maps on time.

Cheers,
Tim
