Here's the Monday Blues Map #185 map. This week's map is the first of a series - a small islet. Next week's map will be the fortress' upper level. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 42x62 10’ Squares or 84x124 5’ Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • The white arrows on the fortress' walls represent arrowslits.
  • Area 1 has vegetation/trees
  • Areas 1, 5, 9, and 30 have statues. The statues at area 1 are on large stone plinths.
  • Area 2 is a drawbridge that can raise the first half of the bridge.
  • Area 3 is water that surrounds the islet. It is at a lower elevation than the islet and fortress (I would say there's a 50 ft drop to the water level from the top of the islet).
  • Areas 5 and 9 have tapestries.
  • Areas 8 and 18 have bars/gates.
  • Area 15 b) has a trap door in the floor.
  • The stairs next to area 15 a) and in 31 lead up.
  • Area 20 has stairs leading down.
  • Area 32 has a secret trap door in the floor.

I've been reading the Official Planet of the Apes RPG and it reminded me of these maps I did back in 2016 for a potential Apes Victorious RPG game/campaign. The maps are system agnostic so could easily work for either game. Click to enlarge.

The U.S. West Coast

And here are versions with a hex grid. 1 hex equals approx. 41 miles.

I didn't even notice it was US West Coast (my home map!) until you pointed it out... Just shows you how for some folks, the shapes are not as important as what's on it...)
