The double white lines on the buildings' exteriors walls are windows. The towers of areas 8 and 19 have arrowslits.
Areas 1 and 11 have vegetation/trees. I'm picturing area 11 to be apple orchards (or any fruit bearing tree depending on the location's climate).
Area 2 is a wooden bridge.
Area 3 is the surrounding water (that is at a lower elevation than the land areas).
Outside area 4 (to the south), 13 a), and outside 13 b) are ladders to the upper level.
Areas 6, 8, 12 a), and 17 have trap doors in their ceilings. There are ladders (not shown on map) at these locations to allow access to the trap doors.
Areas 9 and 14 have wells.
Just north of area 10 are a series of hitch posts for horses.
There are ceremonial pillars at the front of the paths through area 11.
Area 13 a) is a stable. Area 13 b) is a small side building.
