D&D General Turgenev's Friday Freebie Maps

Here's the November 28th 2025 Friday Freebie map. This week's map is a multi-level temple complex with four potential entrances (three on the top of the map and one at the bottom). Click to enlarge.







Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares or 72x96 5' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • This week's map is a multi-level temple complex with four potential entrances (three on the top of the map and one at the bottom).
  • Areas 1, 9, and 18 have stairs leading up.
  • The row of dots at areas 1 and 26 b) have bars/gates. The bars at areas 26 b) are at the opening of the tunnels at the lower elevation (under the ledges of areas 26 b).
  • Areas 1, 7, 8, 26 a), and 26 d) have statues. The statue at 26 a) is an exceptionally large statue.
  • Area 18 has a pool/fountain.
  • Area 25 is a narrow maze that eventually leads to a secret entrance at the surface.
  • Area 26 has pillars/columns.
  • Areas 26 b) are the upper level ledges. The dash lines at the bottom section represent tunnels on the lower elevation (under the upper level ledges).
  • Area 26 c) has open pits.
  • Area 26 d) has an altar.

The November 28th 2025 Friday Enhanced Map product contains a multi-layered PDF (allowing the options of numbered or non-numbered areas, secret doors on or off, and grid or no grid, and all permutations) and a zip file with all relevant (16 + 1 bonus map) map files as individual jpg images. The Enhanced map has a grid size of 36x46 10’ Squares; VTT Size: 2523x3222. All for $2 (US). The image files in the Enhanced version are at a higher resolution than the free WYSIWYG images.

And now for something completely different... (this isn't a D&D map so apologies for that)

So I'm prepping for the 2026 Character Creation Challenge and I realized I needed a sci-fi setting so I came up with this homebrew Star Map. The year is 3116 CE and humanity has spread across the stars. Click to enlarge.



This map style is based on the same style used by Iron Crown Enterprises' Space Master RPG (1985), but the content is all mine.

  • Grid Size: 42x62 10’ Squares or 84x124 5’ Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • This week's Monday Blues map is a tower map (with next week's map being the dungeon/cellar level).
  • The double white lines on the outer walls represent windows.
  • The row of dots at Areas 6, 10, 11, 32, 35, 40, and 48 have bars/gates.
  • Areas 2 and 48 have secret trap doors in their floors. The trap door at Area 2 leads to the dungeon/cellar level (next week).
  • Area 24 has a pool.
  • Areas 26 is an open balcony with parapets. The shaded sections of this area is to show the lower balcony level (of Upper Level 2).
  • Area 40 has a trap door in the ceiling.
  • Areas 44 and 46 have columns/pillars.
  • Area 46 has a statue.
  • Area 48 has an altar.
