Turning - Attempts/Day

First Post
Do the number of turning attempts granted by a PrC add to the number of turning attempts one might get from their regular class? i.e Cleric/Sacred Exorcist (3+CHA/day or 3+CHA/day + 3+CHA/day)

I'm sure there's an obvious answer to this that we're just overlooking.
Could someone point me to a justifcation/explanation of why they do/don't?

Thanks a bunch.

Like abilities don't stack. So a if Cleric gets 3+Cha per day to turn undead, he still gets 3+Cha to turn undead when he takes the Divine Crusader with the Glory Domain. Albeit he gets +2d6.

Now, if the same Cleric were to take Divine Crusader with the Plant Domain, with the granted power of Turn Plant, he'd get 3+Cha to turn Undead as before, but he'd get an additional 3+Cha to Turn Plant.

Equally, a 1st level Cleric of Merrikka with the Good and Plant domains might have 3+Cha Turn Undead and 3+Cha Turn Plant. If that cleric were to take a level in a class which granted Turn Demon, then she'd get 3+Cha Turn Demon, on top of the other two.

However, the ability to Turn Undead or whatever may or may not stop improving, depending on the class. This is explicitly stated in the description of the Sacred Exorcist: 'If a sacred exorcist ... her class levels stack'
