Turning Off First Post Popup

Can this be done individually.
Those little notes popping up showing you the first post are very annoying.

Nope, I believe it's all or nothing. The vast majority of folks seem to find them really useful; as a moderator, I know that I couldn't do without them at this point.

Yeah PC I do like them but now they are huge.
I may be mistaken but it seemed they used to come up only when you hovered over the Post Link but now they come up wherever the mouse is.
That is the annoying part.
I will live with it. I was just wondering.

I totally agree with KB9... (are you into amateur radio?), the feature is very useful but I don't like that it popup when you hover the whole table cell.

I fully agree its annoying. I move down the forums with my mouse wheel, so I get pop ups all the time. It used to be that I had to put my mouse right in the way to get the pop ups, but now I have to make sure I have it in a little strip on the side to avoid them.

While this is being looked into, can anything be done (or has anything been done) about spoiler-tagged text showing up in the pop ups?

Did that make sense?
