Turning other than undead used for Divine feats?

I can't seem to find a definate answer for this anywhere I've looked. As example the Air Domain grants the ability to turn earth creatures. Could these be used to power Divine feats and abilities that require turn/rebuke undead to activate?

If the requirement is "Turn Undead," then no.

If the requirement is "Turning Ability" or some such unspecified Turning power, then yes.
