Turok Son of Stone

If anyone is a fan of Turok Son of Stone. I can recommend the new dvd cartoon. Very good, faithful to the original Dell stuff, none of that modern cybernetic dinosaur crap. I do caution you that if you have small children that it is violent and bloody. My g/f came in the room while I was watching it and thought I was watching Disney's Pocohantus until Turok chopped the hand of an opponent and then when he took the axe out of another's chest and big gout of blood shout out of him. Other than the blood, very faithful to the Dell stuff, very glad I bought it, and there's a nice documentary about the character as an extra.

What? Are you saying that scene wasn't in Pocohantus?

Turok was the first comic I bought when I was a wee nipper back in the early 70s. Enjoyed the Nintendo games and thrilled to see that a movie has been made. Thanks for the tip - I'll be checking this one out for sure.
