[sblock=weldon]Good segue![/sblock] The two young officers thank Finnian and hurry away with their compatriots. It's another TURTLEDOME! broadside. The animated scene shows Vaunea swinging her axe at skeletons, who dance out of reach with their thumbs stuck in their ears and fingers waggling, while they stick out their tongues (which just stretches creduility--seriously, skeletons with tongues?). A large skeleton dances in and punches Vaunea in the face. He strikes her so hard that she flips high in the air, pops out of her armor, and transforms into a mundane milking cow. One skeleton whips out a stool and a bucket. He milks the cow, then hefts the bucket and chugs the contents, milk spilling through his bones. "Got milk?" says the sign. "We do!" "TURTLEDOME!" "Battle Bone!" "Thank you, Mr. Finnian. You were always the nice one." The hunchback halfling buries his face in the palm of one hand. "Marco," he sighs--maybe he sobs, "It's Marco." The sarge waves and points down the road. A couple of blocks away, Finnian can see the two officers escorting Dr. Gnash.
