Vadin sees this as he was preparing to turn and diverts toward the new group. Sword and knife already in hand he focuses on one of those in the middle, who seems more formidable than those in the front. The new formation makes no noise as it travels. It is happenstance that Vadin comes upon them.</p><p></p><p>There are three distinct classes of Da'Roneh in the battle. The least clothed are covered by a thick fabric skirt, arm, and shin guards, and all appear to be late adolescents or young adults. The next group all has the addition of a wide, snakeskin belt, termed as Headhunters. It is one of these that Vadin targets. The leader of each formation is a bit older and has the addition of a snakeskin mantle. Two of the Headhunters and the Blighter move away from Vadin's swinging blades. The next closest Headhunter takes a step back tries to repulse Vadin, who is thrown backward a distance of 3 strides.
