Before they start twinning haste or whatever. On Sunday my youngest player who is 13 was controlling his dad's sorcerer. Dad's in hospital getting an operation. We told him about twin haste so he did that on his life cleric and dad's sorcerer. Dad said he coul run dad's sorcerer. Monday night rolled around and I contacted his dad in hospital. Turns out his kid had a blast and was telling his dad about how great it was..  My more advanced players are in Castles and Crusades game. I advertised a newbie friendly game and are doing that. Problem is 5/6 are familiar with BG3, some cant afford the new PHB atm, one didn't know and recently bought SCAG, Xanathars, Tashas.  Anyway that change might mean 5E 2014 might soldier on for a bit longer. We  only have 1 phb 2014. No 2024 phb made it onto the shelf. We have more 2014 phb than players (I own 3 another owns 2).   So leaning towards 2024 being used on a case by case basis in 2014. Where the rules conflict 2014 will be used unless exceptions have been made (mostly 2024 classes 2014 races, feats, spells). New spells filling holes eg Sorcerous Blast can be used. What are others doing if you're planning on mixing 2014/2024 short term?</blockquote>
