Twisted Lore?

I thought the Guardian Ooze was pretty good myself.

You know, if I didn't post late at night this wouldn't happen.

Looking back through TL, the guardian ooze is there -- it just isn't in the alphabetical listing of creatures at the front of the book. ;)

Sorry about that. :o

Well, I got it last night. So far seems pretty cool. I especially like the phantasmal jelly and some of the shapechanges.

I could have done without all the lycanthropes. I expected a bit more "tentacled horror" action. :)

Oh, for future reference: when referring to "a generally viscous, yellowish-white fluid formed in infected tissue, consisting of white blood cells, cellular debris, and necrotic tissue," the word is pus. One "s". ;)

Give the guy a break, he gets paid by the word.

Just in case you aren't aware, I know Shawn pretty well. The above is just good natured ribbing. (which the smiley should have shown, but just to be PERFECTLY clear...)

I'm pretty sure we were both kidding around. ;)

Hmm

Well, I believe that particular sentence was the result of creative editing :P I just looked through my original work and don't see that particular phrase anywhere :P

It's all good, though :)

BTW, which monster was that particular phrase found? I don't remember having any oozes with any sort of disease attack.

No, it wasn't yours. It was the "vile" an abberation. I was commenting more generally.

I looked at a little more and like a lot of the creatures. I bet it took a lot of creativity to put a new spin on the ooze... nice to see you were up to the task. :)

I was also impressed by putting a fresh spin on shapechangers and symbiote type creatures as well.

My only real problems is I feel that lycanthropes didn't need more coverage. That said, it was interesting to see that the greater lycanthrope seems to get a jump on the 3.5 DR philosophy. :)
