So, a pic is now available on the Twitter acount of Mike Mearls showing Jeremy Crawford holding up the newly arrived Players Handbook.

Now that we're sure it is done, what do we hope will be in it that we're not sure already will be in it?

What do we think typically is in a Players Handbook that we hope is held off and perhaps expanded for the DMG? For some supplement?

We've seen some artwork for it, including the cover, but do we feel it is the tone for the Players Handbook? How diverse do we hope the interior artwork will be?

Given the clarity and concision of the Basic Rules, I'm optimistic that the PBH will be easy to use and take a balanced approach to content. I'm hoping descriptive text is kept tight. There's plenty of room for expanding with books that cover more options and dig deeper down the road.

For some, this picture simply shows a random guy holding a nondescript book. For me its almost like prophet holding a bible.
