two antimagic fields

Regarding the spell description for Antimagic Field where it says:

"Two or more antimagic fields sharing any of the same space have no effect on each other."

Seems pretty sraightforward ... until it occured in my game ... then we all got confused. Cleric cast AMF then walked into an AMF area.

What happens? No change ... the whole area including cleric is still AMF ... or do they cancel each other out where they share the same space ... allowing the cleric to use magic?

You are over thinking it. Two overlapping anti-magic fields are simply two overlapping fields. No more, no less. They can't cancel each other or affect each other in any way.
