Two Item Creation Questions

I'm away from my DMG for the time being, and I have a couple quick questions about creating magic items using the Craft Wondrous Items feat. Where else to turn but the assorted experts here.

What, if any, is the minimum caster level required for creating attribute-boosting items?

What is the formula for Command Word activated items that cast a spell X times per day? (<Spell level> * <Caster level> * <something> * X / 5)

What, if any, is the minimum caster level required for creating attribute-boosting items?

The highest level spell used to make the item. So, if the highest level spell used was 7th, you'd need to be a 13 wizard.

What is the formula for Command Word activated items that cast a spell X times per day? (<Spell level> * <Caster level> * <something> * X / 5)

spell level x caster level x 1,800gp x (5/number of charges per day)

So, if you could only use it once per day, just divide the total cost of the item by 5.

Thanks, mikebr99. That's something I forgot. Mordekai, just remember that these are not the minimum caster level requirements. They're simply the caster level of the items.

I've always felt this was a bit misleading. If I buy or make a Belt of Giant Strength, I should get Giant Strength. Not Bull’s Strength. If I wanted a belt of Bull’s Strength, I'd buy (or make) a belt of Bull’s Strength.
