Two-Weapon Feats?

Does anyone happen to know if there is a feat somewhere out there that allows you to wield a two-handed weapon (say a greatsword or a falchion) in one hand. I have a player that is trying to build a character that can go two-weapon fighting with a falchion in either hand, and I'm not sure if it's even possible.

The only feat that came to mind for me was Monkey Grip, but it doesn't read that way, as far as I can tell. Even if it does, it specifically says that you can't wield it in your off-hand, and I would probably add an extra bonus for wielding a weapon not ment to be wielded in that fashion (sort of like a improvised weapon penalty).

Input please!

It's sort-of possible, but it's an Epic feat (Wield Oversized Weapon, from Complete Warrior).

About all I can suggest is that he takes the Oversized TWF feat from Complete Adventurer, and either goes scimitar/scimitar, or plays a Goliath or Half-Giant and goes Large scimitar/Large scimitar, or takes Monkey Grip and goes Large scimitar/scimitar.

There's also the option of wielding a small weapon. Oversized TWF allows one to dual-wield two small Greatswords (at -2 penalty each, in addition to TWF penalties). It's mechanically similar to using two Bastard Swords (except they weigh slightly less). It boils down to whether you value 2 to-hit or a single feat (EWP) more.

The Warmain class from Arcana Evolved has a high level class ability to be able to use a Large weapon in a single hand. It is I believe a 16th level or so ability.

Try Greatsword (or other two-handed weapon of choice) + Armor Spikes.

Spend the money on the Greatsword, beg a Greater Magic Weapon off of the Cleric/Wizard every day for the Armor Spikes. The extra damage from the spikes deals with the -2 to-hit on your primary weapon, and you can choose to ignore the armor spikes for when you need that extra +2 to hit so they don't incur the Two-Weapon Fighting penalty.

Edit: As for your exact question, the Bastard Sword is normally a two-handed weapon, but Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Bastard Sword) lets you use it one-handed.
