We're running a Gestalt campaign, and the character I want to create is a Paladin/Sorcerer with a Celestial Bloodline. According to the Bloodline rules, you basically take a level in your bloodline at certain points to gain the special abilities that are associated with it.
Easy enough to do for normal characters who gain only one class at a time, but for a Gestalt character would you give up the entire level (both classes), or just one of the classes, in effect taking a level in a class and a level in your bloodline? It seems that you'd be giving up an awful lot by forgoing both classes' abilities. On the other hand, you may get too much if you can also take a class with your bloodline. What do you think?
