D&D 5E Ultimate Barbarian....should I multiclass?

"Barbarian is actually one of the least effective classes for total damage potential."

...All I can do is laugh at that.
Old post you're quoting there, but a fighter or paladin at capstone levels do out damage barbarians, especially when advantage is easily gained by fthe flanking variant rule. The capstone level build I mentioned was assuming a lot more people would be using the variant mark rule ... which allows triple sneak attacks within a round. The build does about the same average damage (about 200 damage on average per round) with higher accuracy than the heavy weapon folks. However, without the mark rules for the third sneak it falls behind, but remains reasonable.

Sorry if that has already been said but I believe many people look at the increased stats as the capstone of the barbarian and think that pretty good. What the true capstone of the barbarian is the infinite rages which when combined with the level 15 ability to maintain rages unless unconscious makes for a truly frightening force of arms that seems nigh unstoppable. Add in the stat increase for a truly epic level 20 power increase unmatched by any class in the game. If barbarian does what you like then the level 20 barbarian does it even better.
