Ultimate Gaming Table

Strangely, that's almost inverse of my idea of an optimal gaming table.

My optimal game table would be a craps table from Vagas, with the inside resurfaces to dry-erase grid map.

That table is great if you have an empty room in your house. But I suspect most of us will just have to make do with using the dining room table.

I hope the cat is optional.

I would hope so as well..

It would snap the suspension of disbelief that a giant cat kept assaulting the characters during each combat. And how much damage does a cat paw do, anyway?

Heh, now that I think of it- there is a 2nd edition adventure with the party in some maze with a giant cat randomly pawing at them.

From my experience, when a cat attacks a player's mini, it's always a knockdown attack. :D

*conjures up images of her sweet, green-eyed tabby cat trying to find a place on the board between chip bowls, water-based markers and miniatures, eyeing the dwarf mini, and then knocking him over with a paw swipe*

Tho' honestly, my cat likes to curl up behind the GM screen, occasionally peeking over it. I think I'll take the camera down with me next time ... it's just too cute (and frightening) not to share!

I can't get the link to work - does someone want to explain all the shadowy shapes I see in each cubicle. And is the inside of the table hollow? It kinda looks like it? If so, why?
