Are we allowed to just imagine odd things here? A thread for oddity? That would be very cool. I've always thought the show Automan was fairly odd, as was Manimal...I'm kind of surprised there's no RPG supplements for either.

Well, you see, both shows suffered from a typical problem. There was one cool guy, and a couple schlubs around to make him look good. No one actually wants to PLAY the schlub, so the system breaks down pretty quickly. Of course, Manimal is pretty easy with 3.5, now that druids get wild shape out the ying-yang.

Oh, wait, we're supposed to be talking about odd things. Um, yeah, all that above was a joke. :D See?

Another odd thing? They're actually making a sequel to the D&D movie. Who'da thunk it?

See, now you've got me thinking of an entire line of products: The Quintessential Schlub, Of Schlubs and Sycophants, A Schlub's Guide to Standing Around, Schlub: The Contrasting, and...I'll stop now.

Manimal D20, coming this fall. It's going to rock.

And I pray you're lying about the D&D movie sequel. I pray and pray some more.
