All you storywriters pull out your pencils, shove on your thinking caps, and gear up those fingers to type! As part of UnCon we will be having a Bardic Contest where writers may submit a short story based on a certain theme. Now here's where you come in. I want your ideas and thoughts on what you think the theme of the writing contest should be. Post them here and also keep an eye on these threads for more details concerning the UnCon Bardic Contest

Major notes of interest!

-The deadline is set at September 19th, so all entries must be turned in by then.
-The theme will be decided by this coming Monday, August 23rd, so hurry on over to the thread mentioned above if you wish to participate in theme discussion!
-The basic guidelines for the contest rules can be found at http://wizopages.wizards.com/areas/isrp/fair/bard.html Any changes made to the rules, which will be minor, will be set in stone by August 31st at the latest. These rules as presented there, however, are a good guideline to get started by

This year's Bardic Contest theme is "The Longest Road", tales of a journey home. Remember, entries can be fantasy or sci-fi. The final draft of the rules will be the next major update, so stay tuned for that!
