At the risk of turning this into a tech flame war, I 100% believe that.I swear if you go back and look my spelling was better before I switched from Motorola to Samsung.

The sheer lack of context I have for this is amazing, especially as to why Mistborn might now involve a Star Empire lol. Don't tell me anything! I'll find it out when I need to!In all likelihood, there will be a TL;DR explanation of the Vorin Star Empire's history and Mythos in the final Mistborn trilogy, as the entire point of the SA is to provide a deep explanation for the Klingon warrior civilization in his Space Opera phase.
I would recommend his "Space Age Cosmere" novels as pretty fun standalone reads: Isles of the Emberdark ("what if we combined Moana and Firefly?"), Tress of the Emerald Sea ("what if Buttercup took initiative and went after Westly in Princess Bride?"), and Yumi & The Nightmare Painter (I have no idea how to summarize thinone: cozy K-Drama commentary on the value of human creativity?) in particular. The sheer lack of context I have for this is amazing, especially as to why Mistborn might now involve a Star Empire lol. Okay these two have been added to my list because they sound like something I'm missing!Tress of the Emerald Sea ("what if Buttercup took initiative and went after Westly in Princess Bride?"), and Yumi & The Nightmare Painter (I have no idea how to summarize thinone: cozy K-Drama commentary on the value of human creativity?)
Planescape, Eberron, and FR were all good setting guides in my opinion.I don't have to, I've seen the final product.
Fine, I'll concede the point that recently, WotC as a company can't seem to create any of these setting-type products very well.

Standing on the shoulders of people who happened to be there at the beginning.Standing on the shoulders of giants though
There are only so many ways you can invent the wheel.Creating a new one thats good seems beyond them.
Theros was rubbish, aside from the mythic monsters. It didn’t have enough detail to be playable.Theros was the best maybe?

Spelljammer and Stryxhaven* you mean? Third from bottom ain’t good.More Theros is best one vs the other with even less detail.
