Character creation is as follows: · Stats: Standard Array · HP: Max all the way · Starting equipment: Normal · Variant Human is fine · ASI’s (if we get there): you get a Feat and an ASI instead of choosing To add a few notes * Once the adventure gets going, Magical Items will be plentiful. By the adventure's end, everyone should have a few Legendaries under their belt. Maybe a few artifacts or Sentient Weapons. The whole world is dead and the Dead have been collecting everything of power they can find. So yeah, Magic Items. So many you won't know what to do with them all. Some may call this a Monty Haul campaign. I call it a "You-will-most-likely-die-and-nobody-ever-gets-to-play-with-this-stuff" campaign. * No extra starting equipment beyond basic starting equipment. When you get to the city, you can requisition what you think you need, and we'll see what the city has available. But the city has too many people and a lot of disease and not enough food, space, guards, or weapons for the guards they have. So there just isn't a lot to go around. (Note, if you're really going to fall from heaven, you're pretty much just wearing what you've got on you, so starting equipment only.) I'm still going with the whole "If you die, you become a monster" and I might still make a thread for characters who die who want to play as an evil undead trying to take down the city. But I might not, we'll see. Oh yes, and while the people will not have an prejudices against Celestials (they're all pretty much hating everybody right now), the Undead will. The Undead will go after anyone who wields Divine Power of any kind before they go after anyone else. Those people will have an advantage against the Undead, after all, and many of the Dead aren't mindless. So Paladins, Clerics, Aasimar, Divine Souls, and Celestial Warlocks will all be targeted more than most.
