History- Mania is a young and confused young man. He has always had an edge over kids his own age but never thought much of it. Now it has been suggested he has a destiny. Though he is uncertain if that is true, he has found himself pointed and running in the direct of that destiny. Now however, he has a new concern. His father may have been a sorcerer-king.
He travels with a determined and very focused young mage whom wants to aid him in reaching out his destiny. The fact that she is now his lover and he still has mixed feelings for a power hungry templar of Nibenay complicates things further for him.
Growing up and becoming a man was never easy.

History- Cosa grew up learning there was a lot of room between right and wrong. She learned talents of a rogue and enjoyed using them against the arrogant templars and nobles. Then she stole a a spellbook accidently from a Veiled Alliance member. Within the book was a worn and folded page with markings and drawing on it. Curious she returned the spellbook and kept the picture. She replaced it with a poorly written note asking to become a mage. Not knowing it was part of a test, she was accepted and learned many things, including how to write common. She became a valued member whom worked outside the edges in secret.
She became more facinated by the drawings and even decyphered a symbol or two before here mentor could. As a gift, she was allowed to keep the parchment.
In time her obsession with the lost artifact has allowed her a good knowledge of ancient times and future telling myths. With her third page found, she decided she was meant to find the book and solve it’s mysteries.
She also decided she needed help. Enter the strange but very capable Mania. Her instincts told her he was important and was a force of good and arranged for their meeting.

History- She is a nibenese noble looking to gather as much power as she can. She is capable of doing anything and is finding it easier everyday. She used her natural beauty to influence any man (or woman) to do as she wanted. She thought that by becoming a templar she would gather more power. She never understood what it took to be a templar of Nibenay. The trials and trubilations involved are slowly breaking her mind.
Enter Mania. She had hoped to use his fame and niave intensions to favor herself but came instead to feel something. She came to love him. She now blames him for her current position including being married to a large lizard-like gaunt creature. She will do anything to get her revenge.
Her ambition has not gone unnoticed either. Her senior, High Templar Veela knows she will topple her (kill her) if allowed to go unchecked. She first tried to put her in harms way but she survived that. Now she hopes to use her need for Mania against her instead.

History- The Captain began as a military grunt in a large world war. The largest his world had ever seen. He proved talented for the job and was given additional ranks and later a once in a lifetime chance to try a new military weapon. His world had never seen Adamanitum before but had discovered how to create it quite by accident. They created a thin mesh body suit of it and a shield. Furthermore, the shield was designed to be thrown if required as a weapon. He underwent some experimentation that INHERENTLY enhanced a few of his already good attributes. The Captain was born.
He fought well and with much vigor. He did anything he was told but kept a strong sense of right vs wrong while doing so. He became noted as a warrior of Justice. His fame grew and his men came to respect him for it. He was a good soldier and had a good sense of what to do on a battle. It was not long before his enemy leaders took note of him and his presence. One such leader was an experimenter known only as the Mister Skull.
Mister Skull had tried to duplicate the experiments done by the Captain’s country but failed. Then he found an ancient tomb hidden in a remote cave. Through this tomb, Mister Skull had learned methods of Magic. Magic was not taken seriously within either side of the war. It was more a myth than fact. Thus the Skull’s experiment’s proved that much more horrific. He mixed the existing knowledge with magic and created something new, deadly and never before seen. Necromancy. However, this knowledge came with a price.
Mister Skull (named for his human skull collection) had an experiment go wrong. Only he survived the toxic explosion. However, he became gaunt and skeletal in appearance and his skin became red. After this he became the Red Skull. Looking to improve his appearance and further his knowledge of his new magics, he set out to capture the Captain and learn how he was enhanced and more about his legendary armor and shield.
What he accomplished was cloning. He had the strong body he desired but found he was horrified by its purity. He introduced it to the deadly Red Dust he was changed by. Indeed, the body shriveled and turned red but retained it’s strength and speed. He transferred his mind to it and became the ultimate human on his world.
The next battle between the Captain and the Red Skull proved climatic. It took place on the glacier sheets of his world. A terrible explosion occurred on the Red Skull’s floating Ship. The Captain fell into the icy waters and is presumed dead. The Red Skull also was presumed dead, dying in the fiery crash of his vessel.

In truth, The Captain did die of exposure but his purity and sense of justice caught the attention of the goddess of the Realities. She required a new leader of her agents. Given the opportunity to live again and battle a war of justice of good Vs evil, the Captain easily agreed to join her and lead her new group of agents- STRIKEFORCE:MORITURI.

History: Vander Stormbringer was once a mere mercenary working for General Irikos whom marched on Utopia in Tyr Valley before the term Cleansing War was ever used. It was a time when metal could be found and worked. It was most often for weapons and tools. Vander’s favorite by far was the massive weapon called a Falchion. Carrying a lightly psionically charged weapon he set on the path to war. Before he ever reached it, a great blast occurred. Unknown to him, a rift was created in reality that sucked him in. Most died on this fateful day. Over 1 million lives were lost in a split second as magic fought psionics and fought defiler magic. Believed to be dead, he opened his eyes and found himself elsewhere.

He was befriended by a dwarf known to him as Snak and a group of travelers. They too had traveled from another reality but each had forgotten. Vander enjoyed his contests of strength with Snak and their long talks of gods. Snak was a cleric of Kord. Vander figured he was confused. He used psionics and followed the dwarven king named Rkard. They never finished their ongoing dispute. The party had discovered an artifact. The Deck of Many Things. Snak trusted luck and wanted to draw many cards. Vander trusted Snak but distrusted the cards. He distrusted anything of a magical nature. He tentatively reached for a card but was bumped by his dwarven friend whom was reaching for his own cards. Each drew three cards.

Vander Stormbringer remembers little he wishes to after this.

He was caste into the Abyss and placed into the amusement of a certain Pit Fiend known as Bartacuss Filthy. After several months of tormenting the already weak willed Vander, he gave him an ultimatum. He could die (a slow and painful way to be certain) or gain the possibility to advance in power and skills. Seeing little choice, Vander agreed to the last and hoped for the best. Once more, he left his life to chance.

He found himself traded to a powerful warlord queen named Queen Ten Bites. This ½ Orc ruler controlled a force of warriors within a cube in the dimensional space of Acheron. Vander had to fight to live. He had to kill to live. He had to please her to live. It was a hard life to have but he did survive. He did kill to live. He even pleased her a few times. But only a few. In a fit of rage, she attacked him within her private chambers and killed him with his very own weapon, The MIGHTY BLISS WEAVER.

However, his story doesn’t end here. He was given a new chance to live. A choice…not luck. He now has agreed to aid a goddess of the realities in stopping a mad destructive god.

History- Christina Van Culterdoss was born and raised in Barovia of Ravenloft. She had lost her father at a very young age and barely knew him. He was a logger by profession. Her mother raised Christina and her younger sister Joline within the limits of her meager income as a school teacher in a private school. Christina often was rebellious and a tomboy in nature. Joline was the opposite.
One day, after teasing Joline mercilessly about being unable to climb a tree, Joline cursed at her. “May our mother ever know what you do and how you misbehave so!”
Shortly after this incident, their mother grew ill and died unexpectantly. Joline took it very hard. She was convinced her sister drove her to an early grave. Christina however, knew no peace. Her mother’s spirit now visited Christina and seemed to always be there whenever she was up to no good.
Looking to end this, she looked to join various religious organizations. None could help her. Then she was approached by a lone traveler. This traveler taught her the ways other than those generally accepted in Barovia. Unknown to her then, this traveler was a mortal avatar for the goddess of realities. She was taught how this world she knew didn’t exist naturally. She also learned there were other versions of each reality. Each difference began as something subtle but days, centreys or longer have made a difference.
Eventually she broke free of Barovia and explored altered realities. Her curse from Ravenloft stayed with her however. She would find her mother whom then somehow became attached to her. The very weapon she found that once belonged to the greatest agent of that reality had her mother’s spirit placed into it. In yet another reality her mother died but was reincarnated by that reality’s Christina as a cat. This cat became a familiar to a powerful mage. The mage has since died but the cat has joined Christina complete with several permanent spells on her.
She recently died battling agents of The Darqueness but came back to try again. She will not fail. All three of her mother’s will be sure to remind her of this oath.

History- The woman known only as the Storm Wielder grew up within the plane of Kalamar. She lived on a floating fishing village built on a large pod of seaweed. Weather and it’s control was extremely important within her home. Her respect for nature and it’s balance was also high. When she was thirteen she discovered a family secret. Her father was not her natural father. Her natural father was a polymorphed Blue Dragon.
His real name was bah-room-kah-largga. He was a feared creature of the sea (unusaul in itself) and had grown bored with his terrorizing ways. What it netted him? He chose to live among the humans for a few years to better understand them. During this time he found a woman of great beauty. Ororo. Though she was married, he seduced her and took her for his own. This went on for a year secretly. Eventually, he grew tired of his existance with the mortals and asked her to leave them and her husband. She would not. He left stunned. Not only did she turn him down, but he didn’t force the issue. He would not be seen again for 14 years.
Jean was the product of their year long union. She had a natural affinity to the weather. She sensed changes in the weather hours before the sailors and known nature masters.
Later, when sixteen years old, she was victum to pirates and slavers. She lived on the ship doing whatever was required of her. Fortunately for her, the Captain was in love with her and enforced a “no touch” rule with the other pirates. After a year on their ship- The Good Fortune, she escaped in the port-city of Bet Kalamar. Here she lived off of the street as she could. She tried thieving but was caught by a mage. This mage could see her dragon blood and decided to test her for natural abilities and talents. She had the natural ability to caste spells like a sorcerer and leaned heavily towards storms and weather. Lady Guice, the mage, trained her as best as she could before sending her on her way to self- discovery at the age of tewnty-one.
She learned of a cult that was trying to conqueor others through evil magic and tried to stop it. This cult was her first experience with The Darqueness.
She fought them off and on for many years until finally the cult tried a new tactic. They Hired THE LEGION. These planar mercenaries hunted her down and killed her for gold.
Her spirit begged for revenge and was heard by the Goddess of Realities. Now Jean, known as the Storm Wielder, fights for the cause.

History- Jim Addards grew up in a quiet southern Vermont town. His father was a policeman and his mother worked within a gift shop. He was very bright and athletic but terribly shy just the same. His two best friends were the opposite. They were Mike and Shad. His life changed completely his senior year of High School. A new girl joined the school whom he was enarmored with immedidately.
They began dating before long.
During this time strange ritualistic cattle slayings were appearing in the area. His father investigated them and was beginning to question a scarey thought. Evil cultists! His father died, ritualistically like the cattle. Murdered. Jim went to his girl friend in greif and then lost his virginity to her. His two friends were either jealous or concerned by her actions. They began to investigate her and found out her father was the head of a cult worshipping an evil god.
Jim’s friends were taken and were to be sacrificed. Jim was also. Unknown to Jim, he had the touch of god within him. He was a chosen warrior to stop the anti-christ. Jennifer’s father knew this and moved to Vermont in hopes of finding him to kill. His daughter’s influence was an extra bonus.
Jim was captured and to be killed with the others. He saw Jennifer for what she was…a hell spawn. In a fit of rage and fury, he broke free and the cult ran away. He would not see any of them for another 10 years.

That spring, he was recruited by the US Government for their college program. Jim, finaicially strapped signed on. Here, he was pushed very hard and trained. They understood who and what he was. They knew the harder they trained him, the better he would be. In time he became a spy. As part of the Pathfinder Division, he would do recon and report to others. Though he was never to be seen or do anything but observe, it was against his nature and he often became a field agent somehow.

Later, in his late twenties, he began to have dreams of god and the devil with the end of the world. Head shrinks felt he was losing it and suggested he take a vacation. He did. In Styxville. His dreams indicated that something was here important to him and his future.
This small country was recently taken over by Vandal Boc. Unknown to any, he was the next Anti-Christ. At this time Jim gave in to his dreams and accepted his fate…to destroy the anti-christ. He staged a one-man war on Styxville which got him dishonorbly discharged from the government.
In the final battle, he experienced something new. Magic.

Vandal Boc used magic on him. It hurt his ego and concept of truth more than anything else. Unknown to him, he can absorb magic and redirect it. He died battleing Boc’s bodyguard- Pittfyre.

Still reeling from the revelations, he is as unsteady and unpredictable as ever.

History- The Brute was once of Earth’s greatest champions. He was even a member of the Adventurers. This simple minded Ogre had a deep and very dark secret however. He could not hide his beastial nature for long. Then it happened. The war to end all wars. Most died. He didn’t. Instead he became stronger, faster and tougher. He decided he could rule the world better than the governments that were now either toppled or unheard of.
He secretly killed the greatest of the Adventurers and then began to kill the other champions. Only a few rebels (mostly the Russian Resistance and Psion-X which were also in Russia at the time) . He set up his base of operations in Nevada and has ruled there ever since.

History- The mysterious woman known only as Belinda has rarely talked about her past. Most feels she grew up in Raam. Others feel Draj. What is known is she came to Salt View trying to avoid a bounty hunter sent by a noble in Raam whom wanted her as a wife. While in Salt View, she came to learn of the Sentinels of Bodach and decided to seek them out.
She has been with them ever since.
