Plot: Casey Ryback is sent on a mission to take out Muslim terrorists who have taken over a flight from Israel to USA.

There is talk on the IMDb messageboard for this movie that someone else other than Steven Seagal could be cast to play Casey Ryback, if it turns out he doesn't want to reprise his role.

Personally, I'm surprised that a third Under Siege movie is being planned. It's been 10 years since Dark Territory came out.

Personally, I'm surprised that a third Under Siege movie is being planned. It's been 10 years since Dark Territory came out.

And was horrendously, horrifically awful even then.

The original Under Siege is the only halfway decent movie Segal's ever made. (Well, the only one with him as the star. Executive Decision wasn't too bad.) I wish he'd left well enough alone then.

He's basically doing direct to video movies now, so I suspect he would take the role if offered.

I hope it has his daughter Ayako in it. She was cute in the Gamera films, anyway (presumably taking after her mother, though she is tall), I wonder what she looks like now?

The original Under Siege is the only halfway decent movie Segal's ever made.

And that movie only worked because of the main star of the film (not Segal) namely THE BATTLESHIP MISSOURI. Tommy Lee Jones's portrayal of the villain and a topless Erika Eleniak also helped.
