Push back into January, too many heavy hitters coming out this month.

Dave's trailers Scroll down a bit, and DL the trailer...

I.e. it probably sucks a great deal more ass than the last one or at least than anything else that's coming out during the holiday season and the makers don't wanna get owned like the miserable creators of donkey poo-poo that they are...oh, I'm sorry, are you a fan ;)?

Well, considering it made over 100 million+ on the first film...someone was sitting butt pretty, yes?

That's a dirty filthy lie and you know it. It...it can't be true.

Humanity is doomed. For not having taste :p.

Consider me tasteless then as I loved the first one, very atmospheric, nice effects and an interesting story.. and more importantly Kate Beckinsale looking outstanding as ever.

This does not include DVD sales ;)

I enjoyed it but the world has changed so I expect nudity in Evolution ;)

Didn't really like the first one. I thought it had a lot of potential, but it didn't live up to that potential in the action scenes. I was particularly unhappy with the ending, when the the love interest becomes super-hulk-guy who can move faster than the camera can catch and appears to be invulnerable for the first minute or so of his fight with the big bad vamp, but then, due to plot demands, he suddenly starts to lose anyway. If you wanted Kate Beckinsale to handle the big end fight, don't make the new guy hulk-smash-level strong right off the bat. Make him weak as a kitten or something fresh from his transformation instead.

I do remember liking the bad-guy who turns out to be more sympathetic than we anticipated, though. That bit was nice.

The first movie had a great setup, and a strong look and feel, but the plot was haphazard and confusing, and the characters were uninteresting. Luckily, due to the bigotry of low expectations, I wasn't disappointed with what I saw - it was pretty much as bad as I'd expected it to be. ;)
