The other issue, compared to the original experience, is just how poke-in-the-eye vivid the colours are. It's now very obvious when Jim is wearing a green uniform instead of a gold one.

Yeah it all creates a very different effect. I remember watching them on a crappy tube tv. HD is quite a different experience. I will say though done if the cinematography really holds up for an old show

We just finished Mudd’s Women. Wife liked Enemy within a lot. Was less into Mudd’s (but was amused by the way the ladies acted)

Sometimes I catch an episode and can't believe the network censors let them get away with dressing some of the women that way. Nichelle Nichol's outfit in "Mirror, Mirror" shows off her belly button. The Star Trek costumers really knew what they were doing.
