Unearthed Arcana 60% off at Amazon!

Dang it - I caved and must have bought the book from another source just before this happened!

I've got to ask - do you guys sit around and sift through Amazon's pages for some bizarre type of sadomasochistic fun, or is there a quick way to search "Show me all RPGs (or maybe by company name), sorted according to discounted amount" that I'm missing?

Amazon labels most of their D&D books with the label (Dungeons & Dragons) in the title. I just searched using that and checked through the first batch.

Thanks. I'd been looking for something to pick up with the complete works of Solomon Kane to slide my order into the free shipping are and this was just right.

I noticed this one too back in August:

Apologies if this has already been reported, but I haven't seen it before.

I noticed several WotC books currently 60%-off at Amazon:
Unearthed Arcana
d20 Menace Manual
d20 Weapons Locker
Dragonlance Campaign Setting
Deluxe DM Screen
Deluxe PC Sheets

Unfortunately, d20 Menace Manual, d20 Weapons Locker and Dragonlance Campaign Setting are no longer 60% off.

For what it's worth, I'm impressed with Unearthed Arcana. It is well worth it at this price..

DLCS is down to 30% ... I just got mine (and the bestiary of krynn ... excellent books).

if I had order a month ago instead of waiting I would have gotten it at the $15 dollar price ... rats, still worth it IMO.

from what i hear UA is just a bunch of alternate rules, such a book will be useless to me even if its 60% off. (in any case, the shipment rates are too high, so i'm not buying almost anything from amazon)

Usually with a minimum $25 purchase the order has free shipping. I ordered UA and one other item which I wanted to get anyway for a total $27 and change so I got the free shipping.

Hey 60% off is double my employee discount. I wanted to get this but didn't have the extra money. Now the price was right and I have the extra money for it so I scooped it up at this price.

Amazon labels most of their D&D books with the label (Dungeons & Dragons) in the title.

Wow, this is much better than it used to be. There used to be like different three places Amazon might file a D&D rulebook and one of them was also used for other junk like D&D novels. I never could guess where they might put a 3rd party publisher. (/Role Playing Games? /Games/Role Playing and Fantasy? /Role Playing and Fantasy - General? Who made these categories?!) Consequently, I could never browse; I'd only bother going if I had something specific I wanted to check out.

The other thing that drove me crazy about Amazon was the number of "dead" items. Take a look at 900Mhz cordless phones for instance; if you sort them alphabetically 19 of the first 20 items are "discontinued or no longer stocked". Well, if you don't stock the item anymore, then why are you wasting my time by showing it to me? Pity da foo who doesn't have DSL to make the download time bearable.

Thanks for the great tip on UA...and the same goes for subsequent posts indicating other products also being sold at huge discounts!!
