Unearthed Arcana for 3.5 from WOTC!

You're right about it being an old copy, though I had refreshed my browser to try and eliminate that possibility before I posted. Switching to IE and refreshing made it disappear. Sorry.

The paragraph originally ended with the phrase:

"I even had some design work for Unearthed Arcana , a book of D&D variants for Wizards of the Coast."

...which was clearly separate from Urban Arcana, mentioned earlier in the paragraph. My guess is it was taken down because they have a policy about not talking about projects until they appear in the catalog, IIRC.

it was an unannounced product, and as such may or may not even be released. someone must have gotten word that the text was on there, and asked him to remove it. bad boy. ;)

I'm betting on Tome of Magic, as it seems like something WOTC would do. Book of Artifacts, too, but maybe that would be rolled in with ToM. Other than that...

i have always felt that they should have been one book. :) i mean, look at them: they're both much thinner than the other 2E hardcovers, and the font sizes and margins are larger than normal. they could've been given a better layout, put together, and still been smaller than the PHB. granted, t$r got a lot more money by having them as two separate books, but in terms of usefulness they would have been much nicer as just one book. :)
