I only answered to another post that was wrong, the combat chapter has a section dedicated to movement and there it is said you can jump, climb, swim which are special type of movements. There are a lot of examples where a skill check can be used out of a combat action. You don't need a combat action to think, perceive things, talk, etc. And if there is any doubt, the DM can invent the action he wants, it's there in the rules.</p></blockquote><p></p>
