Unicorn Priestess

The idea is to have a cleric class that is almost a non-combatant... but with chainmail on the Cleric list this a big drop... The avengers Armor of Faith kind of sounds good and I suspect starting with a cleric is not a good idea... druid or shaman(dont have the phb2 book yet so its speculative) at least start closer in flavor and armor inclinations... upping the healing surges like a paladin maybe... just wondering where I should start. Most of these types "in story" are assigned a guardian, ie a defender of some druid style. I think I need phb2 is that a Warden?

The idea is to have her attacks be non-damaging (ok maybe non-deadly damage perhaps - the kind that knocks out) or all buff and debuff effects, or inspiring allies is it possible, ie an extreme back line leader...

Damage of this class might only ever deal deadly damage to the undead
so I guess radiant damage isnt too bad visually and it can be damage that um wears away at the spirit of her adversaries... rather than harming there flesh. Perhaps she discovers her wrath later in the story and the light of her power goes from pure white to irridescent green.
This kind of goes with the flavor of evolving from innocent... perhaps some of the low level powers have to be swapped out when the character gets to higher levels to represent loss of innocence.

Natures Shield Utility Power level 16 or what?
a small natural animal or bird intervenes taking an attack meant for you or those you love.
trigger : you or an ally within 10 squares take damage from a non area of effect attack which would reduce there hp below 0
effect : ally or self are unafffected by that one attack.

The priestess may after the battle restore such creatures who sacrificed in her name with a tear and a touch (this is special effect - but it is a matter of style after all)

Level 2 Unicorn Priestess Utility Power
Spirited Energy (The Unicorns Blessing)
If not bloodied and their temporary hit points do not exceed their bloodied value target ally or yourself gains accelerated recuperation (regeneration) equal to 1 + your charisma mod. At level 11: 2 + your cha mod. At level 15 : 3+ your char mod and at level 21 4+ your cha mod.

“Some say this is a sign the Unicorn force is fickle, for it abandons you when you most need it. Theory high rage and pain of the bloodied state suppress your greater contact to the unicorn force.”

This ability does not work on the round following the taking of necrotic damage

“The dark suppression of the spirit associated with anti-life is the unicorn forces antithesis and seems it may also block this and other channeling of the Unicorn force.”

This ability is exclusive those who have this ability cannot benefit from accelerated recuperation (regeneration) from another source.

“Some say this is a sign that the unicorn force is jealous.”

Awesome, just read the shaman class... its damn near perfect for the Unicorn Priestess, what it lacks I could roleplay in or just describe special effects for. If I was picky I might think of swapping out the armor proficiency for a shield of faith blessing?
