I had pre-ordered Unreal Tournament 2004 at Electronics Boutique a few months ago (when the game was originally scheduled to hit stores in December). As I found out later, it turns out that at least for now, the regular version that I had pre-ordered and the DVD Special Edition version are currently listed at the same price and the same release date!

Needless to say, I recently stopped by the same EB and switched my pre-order to the DVD Special Edition version.

I'm not sure how long that'll last, so if you're planning to get this game and have a DVD drive in your PC, then hurry to your local EB store (or to EBgames.com) and take advantage of the special price before Atari comes to its senses!

It seems that both UT2k4 and Battlefield: Vietnam hit stores on the same day... though I'm certainly buying them both at the same time, which of those two do I play first on my PC first?
