Unsuccessful Test

Well, the test boards died within seconds of my closing these boards, so I think it's fair to say that the test was a spectacular failure.

I saw it happen. I went to the new boards, logged in, noticed that there weren't any new threads yet, clicked on "Add Thread", and made a quick thread. By the time I submitted it, the boards had died.

hmm could it be that it is the board software that causes the crash rather then the server, locking up under preasure?

too bad about the poor result :-(

Considering that they crashed after seconds, I don't think it's a matter of load. I didn't even notice that they have been up at all. Configuration is more likely.

Ermm...I wouldn't have sent everyone over there if they hadn't been up at all. And you wouldn't have noticed them up since I didn't make it public until a few minutes before I redirected traffic.

They'd been running for about 12 hours and handling light traffic just fine. The only change was the extra traffic.
