Unusual Magic Item Slots

I'm trying to locate the rules on how much greater the cost of an ability boost item is if you're seeking to put it in unusual slot.

In my case, I have gloves of dexterity. I want to use my glove slot for something else, so I was going to craft bracers of dexterity instead (since my bracer slot is currently unusued).

Can anyone tell me where I can find that information?

Should be the DMG, under the section on crafting magic items. Don't know the page offhand.

You multiply the cost of the ability by 1.5, as per the info found here.

Wondrous items that don’t match the affinity for a particular body slot should cost 50% more than wondrous items that match the affinity.
