Upcoming Adventure Review

The Inn is jam packed; <snip> I was waiting until the Inn was less full
It is full, but it is only confusing to those people that still decide to participate in everything.

It becomes much easier to follow when you stick a header to mark your location within the tavern and RP with those people that you really should get to know. I started that habit, yet half the people posting still don't get it.

I have not ended the Ringling Affair, there is at least one more encounter. But with a good group of RPers, I am more inclined to continue playing with them and add another.

As for 1st levels waiting around, RPing in the DWI is what you do while you wait until enough are around. The players that will stick around and contribute to LPF are those that will participate in the DWI and socialize. IIRC, Sunshadow21 has another adventure wrapping up soon too and that will have another group of lower levels available.

Well, we say it's full but really there are only 12 to 15 folks in there. A lot to track w/out "Table Headers," but not so many for an inn in a busy metropolis like Venza. It's just more than we're used to ;)

I've sent PMs to Aura, airwalkrr and Systole for my first level outing. Plan is to take those three (if they're interested) and Kryeprift as a DMPC. That'll take care of all of the first levels hanging about. Due to durabilty issues, level 2 & 3 is a better mix than level 1 & 2, IMO.

Lindeloef/Robert (2nd Ranger) just entered the DWI. If that's the case, might want to encourage him towards the 3rd level group.

Sorry, I don't know what Mowgli was talking about. There is no adventure for 2-3rd levels to my knowledge. My 3-4th level adventure is too high for a 2nd level.

Was more a general thought that it's tough (for me, at least) to stage an adventure that's both challenging to a 2nd level melee character with potentially 20+ hp and survivable by a squishy 1st level character with 6 to 9 hp. The difference between 2nd and 3rd isn't as great as that between 1st and 2nd. I wasn't clear on exactly what level adventures were in the offing.

Mowgli, treat Dame Morrogrim as a first level character. She is quite squishy and could use another beginner's game to bolster her abilities. (Witches take times, just like wizards.)

Robert is a solid second level ranger, but still the equivalent of a maxed out first level barbarian. So, he should still be good to go. He can be the front liner.

Tirgas, well, Cylopean hasn't logged in for a week. And, he is still active in another game. So, I wouldn't expect Tirgas for the new game.

So, I would say run a first level newbie game. Robert will have a bit of an advantage, but it won't be a cake walk, even for him. The game you have chosen is a good one and is already approved.
