As for specific FR personalities, Fyodor of Rashemen (of the Starlight & Shadows trilogy) comes to mind. Some people have worked on a version but I have a sneaking suspicion that maybe he was included. Perhaps you can answer that one, thanks.

Star Elves are much like Moon Elves. A few special qualities:

*Otherworldly Touch - ghost touch ability on any melee weapon/armour at night
*Extraplanar - affected by spells and effects which affect extraplanar creatures
*Fav Class: Bard

And otherwise, the same as moon elves, or do they lose something ? The ghost touch thing is pretty powerful.

Also, are they humanoid (elf, extraplanar) or outsider (elf, extraplanar) ?

And where the hell do they come from ? Why do they even exist ?

As far as the Blightlord PrC goes, do they mention Moander at all? He's a dead god in the Realms, but he was the god of corruption and decay (in the novels before he was destroyed he was like a giant living pile of decaying plant matter).
Just curious since it sounded like the kind of corrupted druid that I could imagine serving him... Finder Wyvernspur killed him and took his place in the novels, but he changed the portfolio of corruption into Change (as in transmutation), and is now some kind of "change in art, music, literature" kind od diety. Of course, he has a grant total of like 12 worshippers, like Shaundakal (who got more popular ever since he was introduced).

Ack! No idea. I'll need help finding him, because I'm not reading the entire chapter in the hope of finding a reference buried in the text somewhere. Should I be looking under any particular area?

Nah, I meant thematically, not mechanically. They're also known as Mithral Elves. They left Faerun 2000 years ago and retreated to an extraplanar refuge; originally they came from the Yuirwood.

They are not outsiders.

No, not a mention. It mentions Talona, though.

I don't like the FR at all. Would this book be worth getting for other information contained therein? Can it be used in other settings as well or is this down home dedicated FR only stuff?

I'm looking for portability here.

The first half of the book (races, prestige classes, feats, magic items, spells) are all portable. The second half of the book is mainly fluff about specific areas. So if you had no intention of using the FR stuff, you'd have about half a book - but a pretty good half, IMO.

can you give some information about contingency spells and the Craft Contingency Spell feat?

Contingent Spells

Single use, one spell items with no physical form. Similar to coningency spell. Require Craft Contingent Spell feat.

Market price is spell level x caster level x 100 gp.

Once assigned, cannot be transferred but can be destroyed. Must be willing recipient or an area. Remains after death if not triggered.

Takes 8 hours per day, recipient must be present for that entire time and cannot cast spells while it is being done.
