Urgent 3.5 vs 3.0 question

It was brought to my attention that data I thought was 3.5 may actually be 3.0. I downloaded all of my 'new' info from the following link at wizards.com.

http://www.wizards.com/D20/article.asp?x=srd35

It is labeled simply as 3.5. Does anyone know if this is the correct 3.5 SRD? I don't want to release products that are erroneously labelled.

AFAIK it is the correct 3.5 SRD, although I think the psionic stuff is still the 3.0 version since they haven't released a new version of the psionics handbook yet. So at the mo, psionics are still the same in 3.5 as in 3.0

It's all good.

That link is essentially a legally-binding document for WoTC, so anything you use within those pages is perfectly legitimate. 3.0 stuff is still legitimate as well, since it's all backwards compatible.

I guess my biggest concern is releasing something with a 3.5 label that I downloaded from the 3.5 site, but then later finding out that it was actually 3.0 stuff.

If the psionics stuff is technically 3.0, I would think they should label it as such. Is there any way to know which of those files is not really 3.5? In addition to psionics, I used data from traps, scrolls, wands, etc.

When the 3.5 links were first put up they originally linked to the 3.0 material and over the period of about a week they were replaced with the 3.5 srd material.

What is up now, I believe, is links to the 3.5 srd.

quick check notes for verifying 3.0 v. 3.5:

classes have actual tables in the rtf formats in 3.5 and not in 3.0

monsters have short descriptions in 3.5 but not in 3.0.

Magic items have detect magic info as part of their stat blocks in 3.5, 3.0 did not have that info.

Spells scorching ray is in 3.5 but was not in 3.0.

Well, I did suggest to them they should leave the original SRD posted, and have a new web page for the Revised (v.3.5) SRD. That way, they can leave the Psionic in the original SRD, until such time when the Expanded Psionics Handbook is released and the new Psionic OGC can be posted in the Revised SRD.

But, NOOOOO.

Glad that I downloaded the original prior to the release of the revised.

AFAIC, as Open Game Content, the original SRD is still usable under the OGL.

This is frustrating. Even though the list of downloads has 3.5 plastered across the top of it, all of the data isn't 3.5. Does anyone know if the scrolls, wands, staffs, and traps sections are technically 3.5 or 3.0?

Is there a reason why you can't compare the material in the SRD to the appropriate sections of the 3.0 & 3.5 core rulebooks, and see which version the SRD matches?
