After engaging in some war-of-attrition debate on the wizards site, I concluded that I had allowed myself to fall for the argumentum ad nauseum trap whilst not utilizing a Venn diagram to decisively break the deadlock. In fact my own logic was suffering from enough flaws itself to create a source for a steady stream of little strawmen to be picked upon & used against me.

Man, I wish I had read the above say... 10 years ago? Or at least earlier this year.
Anyway, I've been plodding along so long without logic basics I now wonder what other things I'm missing. Sooooo, what (links to) subjects do you reckon people should know before putting fingers to keyboard in an online debate?
