Okay - this may already be highly common knowledge but I think I noticed another feature that is there (though provides little more than "coolness" than actual functionality).
If you look at a person's post inside a thread. Look at the square with a check-mark (inbetween the date of the post and the "profile" button for that poster). If that box is blue, the person is not online. If that box is yellow, that person is online.
that's as best as I can figure anyway .. again, apologies if I am just sharing old news.
It's probably there to complement the private message features that come with the board (but that we have disabled -- understandbly so, I am not mulling over this, just trying to rationalize what function/purpose the aforementioned feature might have).
