Yes I know this probably belongs in d20 publishers but no one there will ever see it :)

I looked over the demo version and found the chapter fairly impressive

It reminds me of Medieval demographics made easy bu SJohn Ross but sooped up.

I do have a question though, how much of this book is D20 centric?

The way my gaming is going currently I am unlikley to be playing 3e for a while there is however a very good chance I will be playing a fanatsy game with another rules set

How adaptable is the infomation, especially mining and agriculture to other systems?

AMMS:WE is about as d20 as the Encyclopedia Brittannica. While it does mention D&D 3e and the core books every now and then, it can be readily used with other fantasy RPGs with a smidgen of adjustment.

So use it with your game without a qualm.

Its very adaptable. We based all of our generations systems upon historical sources first and then showed how D20 magic affects things. The Demographics section (NPCs) is the only section thats pure D20, actual demographics during the medieval period were different.

Glad you like the demo, let me know if you have anymore questions.

Salutations,

It covers Western Europe- any thoughts about expanding it to Italy?

Yes. but a different time period :)

Out next book (we've not done a cover for it yet) will be about Empires and based upon Roman history. It will deal with concepts of borders, giant cities, and the greater organization absent from the Medieval period.

Tentitively after that we're going to do an "After the Fall," book that will elucidate what happens after a great empire falls, but before the creation of a feudal type system... not quite dark ages, but a dark ages in a sense as viewed in history as well in fiction (ala Third Age LoTR). It will also be somewhat mediterranean based... (i hate that word meddaa.. medit... i like Mare Nostrum better.. :) )

We're planning on making world builder guides for all the settings common in fantasy fiction (kingdoms, empires, fallen empires, etc.). And we'll do this through researching history, extrapolating the effects of D20 magic, and seeing what happens.

Salutations,

I am glad to hear it. I have been saying a big hole in d20 is the lack of economic/government tools for the dm.

I will be buying this product this weekend. Thanks.

Hey! My homebrew takes place after the fall of the western Empire, with the east still going strong. Here's hoping that your tentative plans make it to reality.
