Update: disregard my above posts. Apparently the Singer perk got removed from the game in a recent revision.

This is something I am NOT a fan of, by-the-way. A game getting drastic revisions like this, post-release doesn't sit right with me. If it was so against the game's vision that it needed to go, it should have been gone during beta testing. This has actually soured me on the entire game a bit.

And the idea of a Singer Bard was a rather unique one, too. Other games are typically very ridged on you needing a physical instrument to use your abilities, when being able to get creative with HOW you make your music (singing, tap dancing, hamboning, etc) feels perfectly on theme.

This is a real damper for me, not going to lie.

I kinda agree on the revisions thing, but it looks like it was removed because it wasn’t needed anymore. Reading the bard class (of the updated pdf), their main ability just requires a performance check; however, there is nothing stating what you are performing with.

So it looks like you can just sing by default now. Hence the perk getting removed.
