My buddies and I have been trakcing Vecna robotics for quite soem time. When they refine the software to start looking for body parts like hands and eyes, I'm taking them out

So that's where the BEAR robot comes from. Thanks! I've read account of how it was field tested in Iraq, but unfortunately, the article didn't have any picture of the robot in question. I like the head.

What's extra awesome is the initial "Gear-V" in their logo. The V's lines are of uneven length... almost like a thumb and a finger. The "teeth" are obviously skeletal. And cradled between the thumb and finger is a gear... with an iris and pupil.

I don't know how much more obvious we can get, folks.
