There is a car in my office building parking lot with a liscense plate of "VENTRUE". I know of no other meaning for this word than the vampire clan in the Vampire RPG. Dictionary.com doesn't recognize it, and a Google search gives only Vampire RPG pages.

Is there any other possible explanation for that plate name? Or can one assume the owner of that car is a Vampire gamer?
