Does Versatile add +1 only once for being used 2 handed or does it modify [W]?

For instance if i have a power that is 2[W], does using a long sword 2 handed result in 2d8+1 or 2d8+2?

You add +1 when you roll damage; you don't add +1 to the damage die of the weapon.

So 2d8+1.
