Very OT: Q about Bill Graham Civic in SF, CA

I'm going to the Beastie Boys show on Friday night. I've never been to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium before. They're general admission seats (no reserved seating for the whole concert) and the venue's website says they clear seats out of the main floor for GA shows. But it looks like there are other seats, perhaps in a balcony? I'm wondering (for those who've been there to a GA show) whether they let you sit in those seats on some sort of first come-first served basis. I've had bad experiences standing in general admission crowds, and wouldn't even have bought GA tickets for any other act, but I gotta have my Beasties.

Can't speak for that theatre exactly, but similar shows I've attended have had all the seats above floor level open admission also. Some specify general admission and then you need floor tickets to get in the area in front of the stage. Unless It's a small club (doesn't sound like it)you will probably have some seating option.

Have fun.
