AWESOME idea.. I would like to see deathevn (I think that is how you spell it) the final boss from Breath of Fire 2 ...
A classic would be Lavos from Chrono Trigger (Magus from Chrono Trigger would made an AWESOME creature too)...
Breath of Fire 4's Ryu and Fou-Lou split powers dynamic would be cool in creatures maybe a race of twins or something (along with their dragon shifting abilites)...
I'll write up Lavos.
Magus would be pretty epic, but nothing suggests he wouldn't just be a Gish build.
I used this picture as reference for size and space. [sblock=PICTURE]

Lavos' Shell is 60' long, 30' tall, and weighs roughly 80 tons.
COMBAT:
Lavos' natural weapons are considered both Chaotic and Epic for the purposes for overcoming damage reduction.
Destruction: Lavos' Shell rains destruction from the heavens. All creatures within a 100' foot radius take 24d8 untyped damage (DC36 Reflex/half). Lavos is immune to this effect. This ability has a 1d4+1 round cooldown after being used.
Chaotic Zone: Lavos' Shell lets out a horrific scream, dealing 3d6 sonic damage in a 120' cone (DC 25 Will negates the effect, but not the damage) that confuses anyone who fails to make their save. Creatures immune to mind effecting affects are immune to this ability (including the damage). This is an at will ability.
Needle Spin: One of Lavos' Shell's many, bony, needlelike protrusions shoot off of his shell and attempt to impale an enemy. Needles so launched deal 5d6 damage and attempt to pin the target (Grapple of +50). This is a ranged attack.
Needles so launched become brittle after impact (hardness 5, HP 15), and a new needle will regenerate in 1d6 rounds. Assume Lavos' Shell has 20 such needles at the beginning of any encounter.
Carapace: Lavos' Shell's armorlike carapace is exceptionally tough and highly reflective, deflecting all rays, lines, cones, and even magic missile spells. There is a 30% chance of reflecting any such effect back at the caster; otherwise, it is merely negated. Check for reflection before rolling to overcome the creature’s spell resistance.
Damage Immunity: Lavos' Shell's carapace is so tough, it is impervious to damage. His weak spot is his mouth, which takes damage normally (damage reduction still applies, of course).
Portal to the End: Once defeated, a portal can be accessed through Lavos' Shell's mouth that leads to the End of Time, a demiplane where Lavos resides while gathering energy for whatever his purposes are. Killing Lavos' Shell does not kill Lavos, you can think of it more as if it were his shield.
LORE, Knowledge: Dungeoneering OR Arcana
DC: 30 - This creature has been known to crash into planes and burrow deep beneath the crust of the plane.
DC: 35 - While beneath the crust of any particular plane, it can be observed that the local fauna and flora flee the area of his landing site, and nearby civilisation becomes chaotic.
DC: 40 - Lavos' Shell is not actually a creature itself, in the standard sense. It is the home of Lavos, a creature of immense power that can only be accessed by entering the portal in the shell's mouth after slaying it. [/sblock]
If you like it, I might be able to be coerced into doing the rest of Lavos.
Obviously, without playtesting, I cannot be sure of it's effectiveness as a CR21. I used various Dragons, the Tarrasque, and other unique, CR20ish monsters as guidelines while trying to keep him within the realm of possibility.
I'm inclined to write it as a CR15, with Lavos himself being CR21ish, but I also like the idea of the destroyer of worlds being CR27 or so... which is why I made the Shell so tough.
Edited: Apparently the line with HD/Hitpoints on it was erased in copying?
